THE BRIEF

To build a fun, dynamic creative campaign to celebrate the opening of Time Out Market Dubai across a series of print and digital platforms. The creative must communicate the main pillars of the Time Out Market brand: cuisine, culture, and editorial curation. The creative will be displayed on screens throughout The Dubai Mall so it must feel fresh and different from the competing high-end fashion advertising surrounding it.

THE SOLUTION

A series of five photo-illustration mash-ups, showcasing signature dishes (editorially rated) with cultural activities. Leon Edler was chosen for the illustration work, who’s sense of humor and whit, combined with his knowledge of the brand, made him a perfect fit for the project. His illustrations were then animated and brought to life on all digital displays throughout The Dubai Mall, and further used for digital and print advertising.
